Tom Colaux – Balthazar

Some works of art naturally find their place in a particular location. Balthazar is one of them.

For another six months, a selection of paintings by Tom Colaux will be on display at this iconic Namur location. Faces, colours, words, silences: an invitation to slow down, to look, and perhaps to recognize oneself in what is revealed on the canvas.

Each work conveys an emotion more than a story. It does not seek to provide answers, but to leave a trace, a memory, a feeling.

Whether you cross the threshold of Balthazar for a coffee, dinner or simply out of curiosity, the exhibition accompanies you, discreetly, through the seasons.

First solo show in Paris – Galerie La Lison

On October 29, 2026, I will have the pleasure of presenting my first solo exhibition in Paris, at the Galerie La Lison, in the 10th arrondissement.

This first solo show marks an important step in my career. Through a selection of new works, I will continue the instinctive research that fuels my work.

Each painting will be accompanied by a poem, not as an explanation of the image, but as its extension: fragments of thought, emotions and moments that pass through the mind to find another form of expression.

At the opening on October 29th, I will also be performing a piece conceived as a living extension of this universe.

The exhibition will continue until the end of the year, to allow visitors time to discover this new collection of works.

I will be very happy to see you there and share this moment with you.

Renaissance Republic – Sampler House

I presented my work at the Renaissance Paris République as part of a collaboration with Maison Sampler. The works were integrated into this Parisian space for two months, extending my world beyond the traditional gallery.

Journey to the Edge of the Mind – Le O'Dix Gallery

I presented a solo exhibition in Quimper showcasing my instinctive painting and the series "Voyage au bout de l'esprit" (Journey to the End of the Mind). This week at the Galerie Le O'Dix allowed me to share my approach with the public and to create a dialogue between the artworks, the texts, and the emotions that accompany them.

A Journey to the Edge of the Mind – The K Art Signatures

At The K Art Signatures, I presented a selection from my series "Journey to the End of the Mind." In these works, faces emerge from a chaos of colors and materials to express the tension between the intimate, the social, and what usually remains unspoken. This Brussels exhibition marked a significant milestone in the presentation of my work in galleries.

Journey to the End of the Mind – Spontin Castle

I presented "Voyage au bout de l'esprit" in the rooms of Spontin Castle. The historical setting gave the works a special presence and transformed the exhibition into an immersive journey between painting, raw emotion, texts and photography.

Journey to the Edge of the Mind – Bouquières Gallery

At the Galerie Bouquières, I presented the collection "Voyage au bout de l'esprit" (Journey to the End of the Mind): a series of raw, colorful, and vibrant faces, where each work conveys an emotion, a sense of vertigo, or an inner truth. This solo exhibition was conceived as a plunge into instinct, matter, and words.
